When our client in Malvern, PA, reached out to our team, they wanted to upgrade their home's curb appeal with new landscape beds. That's exactly what we helped them do! This project started with planning the layout of the new beds to fit perfectly along the front of the house and cutting out their edges. From there, a variety of shrubs and trees were strategically installed to add greenery and natural beauty. Then, we completed the landscape beds with a fresh layer of dark brown mulch and boulders to add some dimension. Now their front yard boasts a simple yet striking landscape design that not only complements but enhances their outdoor environment.

This Project Started With Planning the Layout of the New Landscape Beds

Our goal was to ensure a cohesive landscape design that integrated seamlessly with their front yard, so this project started with planning the layout of the new beds. Our client has a walkway connecting the driveway to the front entrance of their house, so we plotted a bed in the left corner and another that extends along the right side. Once the plan was approved, we moved forward with cutting the edges for the new landscape beds. While the left bed fit perfectly along the side closest to the driveway, we gave the right one a curved edge for a more natural, flowing design.

Next, charming shrubs and trees were installed in the landscape beds.

With the outline of the new landscape beds complete, we started installing the greenery! We added a variety of charming shrubs throughout the beds, including beautiful hydrangeas on either side of the front entrance. Trees were also incorporated to bring structure and focal points to the landscape. Each plant was strategically placed to create an eye-catching, spacious appearance without feeling overcrowded.

The Finishing Touches of This Landscape Installation Included Mulch & Boulders

Once the plants were added, the only thing left to do was to put the finishing touches on this landscape installation! A dark brown mulch ground cover was evenly spread throughout the beds, which not only further refines their appearance, but also brings contrast that makes the plants stand out even more! Our team exercised precision and attention to detail when installing mulch, ensuring it was the proper thickness to provide the intended health benefits.

Additionally, small boulders and stepping stones were incorporated to infuse different textures and add another layer of dimension to the client's new landscape beds. With everything complete, they now have a thoughtful, well-planned landscape that gives their home an upgraded curb appeal!
